Repertoire for the
Berwang International Holiday Music Course 2021
Choir
Main Works:
Harmoniemesse in B-flat major by Joseph Haydn, Hon. XXII:14 (1802).
This mass was Haydn's last major work; the prominence of the winds has earned the work its nickname of "Wind Band Mass".

Five Flower Songs by Benjamin Britten
Five Flower Songs (1950) were dedicated to Leonard and Dorothy Elmhirst as a silver-wedding present, and appropriately celebrated the couple’s love of botany. By this stage in his career, Britten had already shown himself to be an accomplished setter of English pastoral poetry and his response to the texts by Herrick, Crabbe and Clare is economical, imaginative and assured.
