Berwang in Britain, taking place 4-7 July 2017, is a weekend course that will be the summer course in microcosm. As in Berwang there will be separate sessions for choir (sacred and secular music), strings, wind and brass as well as the opportunity to play and sing together.
There will be music making on Friday evening, Saturday morning and on Sunday. Those not taking part in the music are welcome to attend as ‘listeners’, and will be able to relax in the Hayes Conference Centre grounds or visit various tourist attractions in the Peak District.
On Saturday afternoon participants and listeners will have the opportunity join an excursion to Hardwick Hall, a walking group or simply relax.
