Accommodation is provided in the village in comfortable, modern hotels and pensions, where members will be cared for in a happy, friendly atmosphere.  The headquarters of the course will be at the Hotel Singer,  but it is not usually possible for all members to be resident there.  The cost of the course is based on members sharing well-appointed 2-, 3- or 4-bedded rooms without WC or bath/ shower, on a half-board basis.  Additional Facilities may be requested when booking (please see below). 

A Booking Fee is charged (not refundable/still payable in event of cancellation/withdrawal by applicant) to reserve a place on the Course.  In addition to the Booking Fee, COURSE CHARGES are due comprising basic cost plus any extra charges for additional facilities requested (see below).  The basic cost covers accommodation (as above) for the period of the course; local taxes; all hotel-based evening entertainments; all music activities in Berwang (including repertoire scores); and half board (excluding lunch).

NB:  Only Half Board is offered as demand for Full Board is too low.  Lunches are available (extra cost) at the Hotel Singer or at nearby bistros and restaurants.  

The basic cost per adult is €uro 980.00

For applications received by 20th May 2010, 30€ discount is applied to the basic cost.

In addition to the basic cost, EXTRA CHARGES apply to any ADDITIONAL FACILITIES requested:

            Single room                                                                  € 4.00 per day

            Single room with bath/shower and WC               € 13.00 per day

            Double room with bath/shower and WC             € 5.00 per person per day

Please note that all Euro (€) payments are due on arrival in Berwang.  .  PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS NO LONGER AN OPTION TO PAY COURSE CHARGES IN STERLING. ALL COURSE MEMBERS MUST NOW pay Course Charges entirely in euro in Berwang.

Requests for ADDITIONAL FACILITIES must be made on the form.  All bookings are subject to the conditions specified in the brochure, available from the Secretary; in case of any discrepancy between the brochure and information on this web site, then the terms & conditions of the brochure prevail.  Please keep a copy of your completed booking form for reference.  Should a member have to cancel or withdraw from the course for any reason, please immediately notify the Secretary in writing.  

Upon receipt of such notification, CANCELLATION CHARGES (please see below) will apply to the costs itemised above, but not to main travel costs, such as air fares, which are not normally refundable or transferable.  Furthermore, the organisers reserve the right to cancel the course owing to circumstances beyond their control, in which case due notice will be given, and any Booking Fee/payments returned.  The organisers will not accept any responsibility for injury, accident, illness or loss sustained by members or third parties travelling to/from the course or during the course itself.  Members are therefore required to take out appropriate insurance cover from the date of acceptance on the course until the date of return from the course.
