Accommodation

The course is based at the Singer Sporthotel & Spa which is a 4*, Relais & Chateaux hotel. This is a traditional Austrian chalet-style hotel with rooms in the main hotel and the annex next door. Course members may stay at the Singer Hotel, the annex or in friendly Pensions near the hotel. Breakfast is taken where you are staying and we all take dinner together in the hotel. Most accommodation is in single or double rooms, but there are a small number of triples and family suites available. Haus Berghof is a typical Austrian pension situated about 100 metres up the hill from the Singer Hotel. This Pension has 22 rooms, each named after an alpine flower. This is a pension we regularly use and the Koch-Hosp family make their guests very welcome. The Gschwendhof is another friendly Pension popular with course members. This Pension has 11 rooms and a large sun terrace. The Gschwendhof is about a 5 minute walk from the Singer Hotel. Photos can be found at www.berwang-erleben.at/pension-zugspitsarena/gschwendhof.html

Many of the rooms in the hotel and in the Pensions have balconies, with gorgeous views of the mountains and/or the village. All are traditionally furnished, with generous use of natural wood, and provide a high standard of accommodation.

Wi-fi is available in the Singer Hotel Lobby and lounge, but if you don't want to bring a laptop with you a PC is available for guests to use in the Lobby. Wi-fi is not available in all the Pensions, but all Berwang Holiday Music Course members may use the hotel's facilities.
