The headquarters of the Berwang Holiday Music Course are at the Hotel Singer, which is a 4-star, Relais-Chateaux hotel in typical Austrian chalet-style, comprising a 4-storey, 55-bedroomed main building with two annexes – one adjacent and one opposite.  Apart from breakfast, all meals (except for those lunching out on half-board) are taken together in the hotel.  For those staying at the hotel, breakfast is also taken here, while for others it is taken wherever they are staying.  We book a certain amount of accommodation in the hotel, but – as we offer such a wide choice (single rooms, doubles, triples and family suites; some with, some without private bath/shower or WC) – we cannot guarantee that everyone on the course can be accommodated in the Hotel Singer  itself.  Some may have rooms in one of the annexes and others will be housed in attractive, friendly pensions nearby. 

The Berghof, pictured here, is a typical Austrian guesthouse.  Situated about 100 metres up the hill from the Hotel Singer, this pension comprises 22 rooms, each named after an alpine flower.  The Koch-Hosp family make their guests very comfortable and welcome.

Many of the rooms have balconies, with gorgeous views of the mountains and/or the village.  All are traditionally furnished, with generous use of natural wood, and provide a high standard of accommodation. 

Telephones are available in the rooms at the Hotel Singer, and reception will also receive and send faxes.  Many rooms also have TV and/or radio equipment.  There is usually a socket which, with adapter, can provide connections for charging mobile 'phones and laptops, but internet facilities are not yet available (a blessing for those trying truly to escape from work – as is the fact that mobile 'phones are not welcome in the public areas of the Hotel Singer!).
