TRAVEL to Trittenheim is either by our Suggested Route or members may make other arrangements.  To keep costs to a minimum, we recommend the Suggested Route, which is via air from London (Stansted) to Frankfurt (Hahn) and onward group transfer by coach/minibus to Trittenheim.  Details of the suggested flight for self-booking will be confirmed on receipt of the signed booking form and payment.  Members having to book an alternative flight may still join the group transfer, provided they meet at the designated time.

[The following were the arrangements for the 2005 inaugural Weekend, to indicate the likely arrangements for the 2007 Weekends, details of which will be available nearer the time.  The coach/minibus met the following flights [all times stated are local]:

London (Stansted) depart Friday, 06May05 at 10:55 on flight FR 756, arriving at Frankfurt (Hahn) at 13:10.

Frankfurt (Hahn) depart Monday, 09May05 at 18:25 on flight FR761, arriving at London (Stansted) at 18:40.

Please note that flight times and prices are subject to change, so please check latest info before booking.  In May 2005, the return flights cost (inclusive of taxes, fees and charges) just over £52 pp.]

Transfer to Trittenheim will take about 1¼ hours and will cost around €uro30 return (payable in cash on arrival in Trittenheim), depending upon numbers requiring this service.

CASH PAYMENTS:  Please note that ADDITIONAL CHARGES, such as for coach transfer (see TRAVEL, above) will be invoiced separately.  Please note that any Euro (€) payments due must be paid on arrival in Trittenheim.  In view of the low course charges, it is not possible to make any other arrangements regarding payment.  All bank or other transfer or conversion charges must be born by the course member; all figures quoted are nett.

There are two automatic cash machines in the village of Trittenheim for withdrawing uro cash for making payments.

PASSPORT & INSURANCE:  It is the sole responsibility of each course member to ensure that they are in possession of a valid passport and any visa(s) required.  Please make certain you have full holiday insurance cover – this is now a specific requirement.  U.K. residents should also carry a current E111 (available from post offices) NB Any E111 issued before 1st January 2005 is now invalid so please ensure you have the new-style E111.
